Mr. Jacobs joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 2003 and is a Partner with the firm, and Chair of the Business and Banking Group. Mr. Jacobs' practice is concentrated in general business representation, corporation and limited liability company formation, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, not-for-profit corporation representation, as well as education, municipal, zoning, planning and land use law.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as Counsel to Integris, Inc. in Billerica, Massachusetts, and prior to that he served as Assistant General Counsel to Wheelhouse Corporation in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Mr. Jacobs is a member of the American, New York State and Broome County Bar Associations. He is a past Chair of the Broome County Bar Association Municipal Law Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of Southern Tier Alternative Therapies, Inc. and is a past United Way Division Chair. He served for one year on the Management Committee of NOFA-NY Certified Organic, LLC.
