Biography
Lindsey L. Johnson joined Coughlin & Gerhart LLP in 2024 and is an associate with the firm. Her practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, and real estate matters. She works closely with clients to navigate legal processes and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Lindsey earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2019 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2020. She began her legal career at Levene Gouldin & Thompson, LLP, where she spent four years practicing prior to joining Coughlin & Gerhart.
She is an active member of the New York State, Broome County, and Tompkins County Bar Associations, currently serving as Vice President of the Tompkins County Bar Association. A graduate of the Broome Leadership Institute (Class of 2024), Lindsey is committed to community engagement and professional development.
Lindsey has contributed to continuing legal education, presenting "Wills v. Trusts" for the Broome County Bar Association CLE in 2023. She also authored "Urban Creep in Upstate New York: Optimizing the Preservation of Agricultural Land," published in the Albany Law Review in 2019.
