Susan L. English

Ms. English joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP in 1989 and is a Partner in the Firm, as well as Chair of the Oil & Gas Practice Group. She practices in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, estate litigation, oil & gas matters, real estate and adoptions, as well as personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including products liability and medical malpractice.

Ms. English is a past President of the Broome County Bar Association (2006-2007) and a past member of the Broome County Judicial Candidate committee. She is a former Chair of the Professional Liability Section of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section of the New York State Bar Association. Ms. English is a member of the Broome County, Tioga County, Susquehanna County and New York State Bar Associations. She is a past Vice President of the Board of Directors of Literacy Volunteers of Broome/Tioga Counties, having served on the Board for ten years. Ms. English is also a member of the Owego Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.  She is a past Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Friends of Salt Springs Park, Inc., having served on the Board for six years.
