Zac joined Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP as an associate attorney in the summer of 2018. He practices in the firm's main office (Binghamton, New York) as well as the Owego, New York, branch office.

Zac's practice is focused in the areas of Trusts, Estates, & Elder law as well as Real Estate law. While he has a passion for estate planning (including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and living wills/health care proxies), his Trusts, Estates, & Elder law practice incorporates drafting trust agreements, tax and Medicaid planning, property transfers, trust administration, probate, estate administration, elder law, litigated estate matters, and guardianships.

In Zac's Real Estate law practice, he represents buyers, sellers, and lenders in various real estate transactions. He is also experienced in representing landowners and lessors in residential lease matters, hunting leases, and land contracts.

Prior to joining Coughlin & Gerhart, Zac received his Bachelor's Degree from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA in 2015. Then, in 2018, he received his law degree from Penn State Law School where he was a Senior Editor of the Penn State Law Review.

Zac is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Broome County Bar Association.
