Professional experience
Mr. Mead joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 2003 and is an Associate with the firm. After moving to Binghamton in 2000, he became the Director of the Youth Courts of Broome County, and held that position until joining the firm in June 2003. Mr. Mead's practice includes litigation, with an emphasis on municipal liability, including police and fire disability and retirement claims, labor negotiations, workers' compensation and social security claims.

Mr. Mead is a member of the Broome County and New York State Bar Associations. He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Association of New York State Youth Courts, and currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of ACCORD, Broome and Tioga Counties’ center for dispute resolution.
