Mr. Guy joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 1986 and  is a Partner in the firm.  He is Chair of the firm's Trusts and Estates Practice Group.  Mr. Guy's practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning, trust and estate administration, elder law, real estate, business planning, and taxation.

Mr. Guy lectures frequently on estate planning topics, and has been active on several local not-for-profit boards, including Roberson Museum & Science Center, Inc., the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier, Inc., the American Heart Association, Mid-State Region and Action for Older Persons, Inc. He is a member of the Broome County, New York State and American Bar Associations, and the Trusts and Estates sections of those associations. Mr. Guy is also involved in the United Way of Broome County Trust Fund and the Community Foundation for South Central New York.
