Ms. Aton joined Coughlin & Gerhart, L.L.P. in 2007 and is an Associate with the firm. Ms. Aton is in the Business & Banking and Public Law practice groups.  Her areas of practice include commercial lending, commercial and residential real estate, general business matters, entity formation, municipal, zoning, planning and land use law and estate planning.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Aton practiced in New York City with the firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, concentrating on commercial real estate, leasing and corporate finance transactions.  Her work there also included project finance and synthetic and leveraged lease transactions.

Ms. Aton is a member of the Broome County, New York State and American Bar Associations. She is Vice President of the Board of Directors of The Discovery Center; is a member and former Secretary of Triple Cities Business and Professional Women’s Organization; serves on the Enterprise Committee of Binghamton Downtown, Inc.; is a member of the Conklin Rotary; is a member of the corporate body of the Empire State Special Needs Experience, Inc.; and is a member of the Broome Leadership Institute’s Class of 2010.
